A Very Mini Blog

For someone who claims their only pet-peeve is bad grammar, you sure don't use spell check, SSH.

So, Valentines Day is commercial. Yep. No denying that. It's just the hard truth. The thing is, it's not the commercialism of the matter that I love about Valentines Day. SSH, you know how I feel about teddy bears. For those of you who don't, if I see a bear and someone says I can't have it I practically break down into tears. Seriously, bears are my kryptonite. Even the multitude of bears are not the reason I love Valentines Day so much. The reason it's my favorite holiday is that it lives in extremes, and how cool is that? On Valentines Day you basically have to genres of people; the people who love it and  usually come in pairs, and the people who hate it and only talk about the commercial aspect of it (hint, hint). Then you have me, an avid people watcher and single girl, who stands out on the side of things and watches it all go down well listening to something epic like DIIV and just thinking to myself "Wow, these people, they're all in extremes!" It's one of the few days a year that everyone is either happy or denying depression, and I just think that's kind of amazing to watch.

I promise I will post more tomorrow. I was on a plane all evening, so that's why this is so short.
